In many towns and villages of Gujarat,
education is not a plan.
It is a hope carried quietly.
The Urja Noor Scholarship film captures stories of students whose dreams were paused by circumstance financial hardship, loss of parents, limited access, and social barriers.
Through intimate interviews, real-life moments, and emotionally grounded storytelling, this documentary traces the journey from struggle to opportunity.
The film moves between:
• Parents who sacrificed everything
• Students who refused to give up
• And a vision that chose to intervene
When Dr. Faruk Patel and KP Group initiated the Urja Noor Scholarship under the KP Human Development Foundation, the objective was clear:
Education must not stop because of income.
But the initiative went further.
It combined structured university education at PP Savani University with:
• Assured job opportunities
• Practical renewable energy training
• Financial stability
• Hostel, meals, transportation support
• No caste or religious barriers
This wasn’t just funding education.
It was building an ecosystem.
Cinematically, the film was crafted to feel human, not promotional.
We focused on:
• Raw emotional storytelling
• Authentic interviews
• Slow, observational camera language
• Real environments over staged sets
• A narrative arc moving from struggle to transformation
The structure carefully balances personal pain with institutional hope allowing viewers to connect emotionally before understanding the scale of impact.
Today, 92 students are already beneficiaries of the program.
But beyond numbers, the real impact lies in:
A mother who no longer worries.
A father who sees possibility.
A child who steps into a university campus for the first time.
The film concludes with a powerful truth:
When a child is educated,
a family rises.
When families rise,
society strengthens.
And when society strengthens,
a nation moves forward.
This project reflects Cinesta’s strength in long-form impact storytelling where corporate responsibility meets human transformation.
Because real change deserves real storytelling.
